This 5 Days Uganda wildlife safari will start from Kampala/Entebbe going to Queen Elizabeth national park for wildlife viewing and mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest.
Pick up from your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala after an early morning breakfast by your guide and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth is one of the most visited national parks a with diverse ecosystems, classic big game, 10 primate species and over 600 bird species .You will have a stopover at the equator for photography and experimentation and a lunch break in Mbarara. You may pass through Lake Mburo national park where you will see game as giraffes, zebras, impalas among others. You will arrive Queen Elizabeth national park in the evening for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Early morning after a cup of coffee, you will either go for morning game drive long Kasenyi Sector of the Park in search of the lions, a vast number of Uganda kob, herds of buffalos, elephants. The Mweya peninsula offers excellent game drives with magnificent views across the water to the Rwenzori Mountains. Mweya is one of the best places to look for leopards, which live in the dense, scrubby thickets. Or you will go for chimpanzee tracking in Kalinju forest. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon head out for Launch cruise along the Kazinga channel where there is a concentration of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalos coming to drink water at the edge. The channel is a birding spot for water birds, with great flocks of pelicans and others birds on the shore, and a great spot to see African fish eagle. You will have an evening game drive after the board cruise before retiring to the lodge for Dinner and overnight(day 1).
After breakfast proceed to the northern circuit of the Ishasha sector with your packed lunch .You will conduct another Game drive in this sector with chances of spotting the famous tree climbing lions while connecting to the central of Bwindi,Ruhija sector where you will drive for some 2 hours
Rise up early for breakfast, you set off for gorilla tracking. Trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally meet the shy gorillas in their natural habitats is rejuvenating. Tracking in Bwindi forest requires stamina and can often take a day. For one hour you are allowed to spend it with the mountain gorilla seeing how they go about their day from feeding to playing, it’s a real unforgettable experience. Depending on the duration of the track you can either relax in the afternoon at the lodge and just enjoy the view or go for another walk around and explore the village and meet the batwa community for the batwa experience. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel/ lodge.
After the early morning breakfast, hit the road and set off to Kampala, on the way admire the rolling hills, vegetation.You Will have a stopover for lunch as well as refreshments, reaching Kampala/Entebbe early in the evening.
