2 days at Kivu Lake

After breakfast, the driver guide will come to pick you and drive to Gisenyi. On your way,  you will be amazed by how good Rwandan roads (RN1, RN4) are ready for upper level tourism. From Kigali to Rubavu, there are 156-160 Km approximately 3 hours.  Arriving in Gisenyi, you will visit hot spring of Nyamyumba and tour the Gisenyi Market to have a general idea of the town. Depending on arrangement made, you can acquire material for water sports at the lake near Kivu Serena Hotel. Boat rides inside the lake to Islands are organized. Evening you will have opportunity to see traditional fish men doing their things at night. They use wooden fishing boats with long. A sunset and the dinner at Lake Kivu is memorable.
